Resources for career advisers

TISC provides a range of resources to help school careers advisers counsel and prepare students and parents for subject selection, understanding the ATAR and applying to university through TISC.

Subscribe to TISC Updates to keep up to date on changes throughout the school year. TISC will host two telecons for career advisers towards the end of April and July.

For Year 12 students and parents

- CareerTrackers - is a national not-for-profit organisation that partners with universities, industry and community to accelerate the careers of First Nations students. We support Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students through their university and career journey with paid internships during uni holidays, mentoring, leadership development and community connection.

Help from TISC

TISC visits to schools - TISC staff are available to provide presentations to school staff, Year 12 students and/or parents for most of the year (except from September to January). These presentations can be in person, or online via MS Teams, subject to resourcing and staff availability. For metropolitan schools complete an online booking. For regional schools please email requests or the booking form can be completed. Be aware in-person visits to regional locations have a set calendar to accomodate travel.
