If you wish to sit the Skills for Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT) to meet the competence in English requirement for one or more universities, you should book without delay.

For Curtin, ECU, Murdoch and Notre Dame you will need to sit STAT Written English. For UWA you will need to sit both STAT Written English and Multiple Choice. Seek advice if you are not sure whether you should sit the test. Competence in English is only one of a number of admission requirements that must be satisfied. You may not necessarily receive an offer even if you successfully complete STAT.

Note: You can only sit STAT once in-person with TISC between May 2025 and April 2026. Further sittings can be completed online via the Australian Council of Educational Research (ACER).
