Registration
To make a university application on the web you need
to be registered.
You are already registered if:
- You are currently enrolled in any Western Australian Curriculum Council
Year 12 subjects/courses in 2008. Your TISC number is the same as your Curriculum Council
number.
- You have requested information or sat
the Special Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT) in Western Australia from March
onwards of this year. Your TISC number would have been advised on a letter
from TISC. If you cannot locate this number please telephone our office
on (08) 9318 8000 during normal office hours.
- If you have requested information about
STAT and also are currently enrolled in Curriculum Council Year 12 subjects/courses
you may have two numbers to choose from. Please use the Curriculum Council
number to apply. If you do not, there will be delays in matching your results
with your application to university. This, in turn, may affect offers.
If none of the above applies, you must register with TISC Online before you can apply.

here to begin the registration process.

Previous year(s) TISC numbers have been archived and can no longer be used.
Please click
here to register again and during registration you will be
able to select a password. At the end of the registration process your user id will be advised
onscreen. This is the number you use to lodge an application.

Lodgement of
Application
- Your application is only forwarded to TISC once
the payment has been completed. When you declare, your application is locked,
awaiting payment to TISC. There are time limits related to the acceptance
of payments. Your coversheet will advise you of the date.
- Make sure you read your coversheet. Your coversheet will advise you of the documentation that is to be submitted by you
in support of your application.
- Once the payment has been processed you will
be able to amend your preferences and change your contact details. Any other
information cannot be changed. If you find that you have forgotten to add
something or made an error you will have to submit the changes in writing
to TISC. Click
here for the Applications Changes Form.
- Be aware that TISC is under no obligation
to accept payment of applications if received after the required date. Applications
that have not been paid are considered invalid and will not be included
in university offers.

Deferred Student
If you deferred your studies to commence in February 2009, please note the following.
If your deferred place is from Curtin University of Technology, Edith Cowan University or Murdoch University , and it is your only preference this year, you must apply direct to the university concerned. Please submit a copy of the deferral letter from the university concerned along with any supporting documentation.
If your deferred place is from The University of Western Australia, and it is your only preference this year, you must re-register and lodge an application through TISC. In these circumstances, you are not required to submit any supporting academic documentation with your application. All that you are required to submit with your application web coversheet is a copy of the deferral letter which the university would have sent you this year.
If you also wish to apply for another course at any of the universities, you must apply through TISC. In these circumstances, you will need to provide any supporting academic documentation with your application. TISC does not retain supporting documentation from one admissions year to another. Please submit a copy of the deferral letter from the university concerned along with any supporting documentation.
You can put your deferred course anywhere in your list of preferences. If it is not possible to offer you a higher preference, your deferred course will be re-offered to you. You will not be offered any course that you place lower than your deferred course. Should you require further details on how the preference system works, please refer to "Offers of Admission".
You are still guaranteed your deferred course as long as you apply for the deferred course before the closing dates.
Changing
Preferences
- To change preferences you first need to have
a completed application with TISC. This means that you have declared and
the payment has been processed. You are not required to re-register with
TISC Online. Just log in using your TISC number and password.
- Closing dates are applicable when changing
preferences, please refer to our calendar.
